Coffee Grinds does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
Information We Do Not Collect
Coffee Grinds never collects:
Personal information (name, email address, phone number)
Location data
Contacts or address book access
Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, or similar)
Usage analytics or behavioral data
Crash reports sent to external servers
Photos, camera, or microphone data
Health or fitness data
Payment or financial information
We do not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or any third-party data collection tools of any kind.
Information You Enter
When you log a brew, the app stores the following on your device:
Coffee name and brand/producer
Roast type and roast date
Flavor notes
Grind level
The date and time the entry was created
This data is saved locally using Apple's SwiftData framework and never leaves your device. It is not backed up to iCloud, synced to any server, or shared with anyone.
Third-Party Services
Coffee Grinds uses no third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, cloud services, or external APIs. There is no server-side component to this app.
Data Retention and Deletion
You are in complete control of your data:
To delete individual entries: swipe left on any entry in the app and tap Delete.
To delete all data: uninstall the app. All locally stored data is permanently removed.
We have no copies of your data and cannot recover it once deleted.
Children's Privacy
Coffee Grinds is rated 4+ and is appropriate for all ages. Because we collect no data from any user, there are no special considerations for users under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published at the URL provided in the App Store listing. The effective date at the top of this document will be updated accordingly.
